Swee Technologies of Pune launched a year ago small scale production of low cost stirling engines. They wisely joined the Solar Fire business network, when it was free to do so, and used it as their main sales platform. They are now batch producing there model Stirling engine 10 and 100 unit batches, and are working on more powerful models and solar powered models. They’ve also uploaded some videos for our pleasure.

Though this demonstration model is run off a blowtorch, it’s a step in the right direction. We at solar fire are currently working on a small Solar Fire model that could power this 5 watt Stirling engine.
