We lifted off from Paris as four, destination Bamako. The voyage unraveled well despite two hours of delay in Pairs, 7 hours of waiting at Casablanca, and a prolonged stop at the boarder of Orly (for a supposedly hidden pistol in a hard disk) and a disappeared tent at Casablanca. Thus we arrived at Bamako around 2:30 in the morning and were pleasantly surprised to have been expected by Idrissa, member of the Dogon and Brothers association and president of PMU Mali. We participated two week ago in a humanitarian contest organized be the mayor of Fourqueux. Grants would go to the three best projects. Each participant was to present a folder and defend it orally.
The results just came in and we have the pleasure of announcing that we arrived in second place !!! The four of us are very proud that our project was reviewed by a jury and received a grant.
We are also are very touched by the your generosity and interest in our project.
