Corsica, Marseille, Perpignan and... Burkina

The idea of a small Vesta came up in Corsica in the end of 2007... Two students in renewable energies in Corte (Corsica), Baptiste Lavigne and Nathan Guérin wanted to built a solar fire machine. Without any budget and real workshop, they made it and called it the Batant (Baptiste/Nathan) !

The Batant travelled in France and gave to others the idea of building an Albatros (23 mirrors). It’s been realized by Jean-Pascal Baldacchino, Cécilia Bonnet and Baptiste Lavigne, member of A demi voix.

Baptiste has gratuated with a Master in Renewable Energy in Perpignan.

He has also presented the Solar Fire at Euromed festival in Marseille.

For further details please read his French section.
